This report identifies the NCES CIP changes from 2000 to 2010.
Typically programs at the universities will adapt the CIP code changes identified by NCES, but not always. Each change is evaluated individually.

CIP 2000:: The 2000 CIP code.
Title 2000:: The title associated with the 2000 CIP code.
CIP 2010:: The equivalent CIP code in 2010.
Title 2010:: The title to be used for 2010.
Action:: There are four possible actions:; new: the 2010 CIP code is new; there is no equivalent 2000 CIP code.; deleted: the 2000 CIP code is retired; there is no equivalent 2010 CIP code.; move to: the 2000 CIP code has been changed to the list 2010 CIP code.; no substantive changes: the 2000 CIP code and definition remains essentially the same in 2010.
Text Change:: If yes, then the detailed description of the CIP code has changed.
