A flag to differentiate among non-faculty university pay plans that have different rules in the areas of collective bargaining, implementation of pay increases, benefits, etc.

Code 'Y' when the non-faculty university pay plan on the record is typically not covered by a collective bargaining unit and/or employees paid from this plan are considered to have administrative or professional type responibilities.

Code 'N' when the non-faculty university pay plan on the record is covered under collective bargaining. Employees paid from this plan are typically eligible for inclusion in a bargaining unit, and benefits offered under this plan are different than those offered to non-faculty employees in plans with mostly administrative and professional type responsibilities.

Code '.' if you do not differentiate at the level of classification code or you choose not to report.
