Page Name

Numeric test score reported by the test publisher.

ACT/SAT: The score that is submitted should be the score that is used for admission decisions. If a higher score is received after a decision to admit is made prior to enrollment, the higher score may be reported on the Admissions file. If the ACT or SAT test is taken more than once, the highest sub score (math, science, english, reading, verbal, or quantitative) can be used for each subscore category. The Admissions Scale Requirement table shows the minimum admissions score requirements for the SAT and the ACT. Beginning Summer 2010, the composite score for ACT will no longer be valid. The ACT composite score can be calculated by the average of the scores on the four multiple-choice subject area tests (English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science), rounded to the nearest whole number.
