The classification which identifies the discipline in which the employee holds tenure or in which the employee is earning tenure. (FAC 6C-5.225)

Faculty in non-instructional fields should be coded 000000 - not reported by discipline. The only non-instructional tenured or tenure-earning faculty that are not required to have a CIP are the following groups:
- Librarians Classes 9050-9056
- Museum Curators 9150-9152

Tenure codes of 1 and 2 are required to have a valid tenure CIP.
Tenure codes of 3,4,M should be coded blanks or '.'.

Load programs on EMPLOYEE_DEMO will value NULL when TENURE_STAT is not '1' or '2' or CIP_TENURE is '.' or blanks.
