Page Name

Categories used to describe groups to which individuals belong, identify with, or belong in the eyes of the community. The categories do not denote scientific definitions of anthropological origins. A person may be counted in only one group.

Code "X" not reported is invalid for employees. The manner of collection of the racial/ethnic information is left to the discretion of the institution provided that the system which is established results in reasonably accurate data, which may be replicated by others when the same documented system is utilized. An employer may acquire the racial/ethnic information necessary for this section either by visual survey of the work force or from post-employment records.

For the SIF: Correspondence students (01267=O) will not be included in Critical/Tolerance editing 'not reported' group.

These submissions do not require a PERSON_DEMO table record unless a change is being made to a particular demographic element. SUDS will attempt to match the PERSON_ID submitted on all tables of these submissions to PERSON_DEMO information previoiusly submitted according to the following scheme:
HTD --> SIF
CPC --> SIF
LAP --> SIF then ADM
TEF --> SIF
SFA --> SIF
SIFD --> SIF
RET --> SIF

Load programs for PERSON_DEMO table will NULL all 'X' (not reported).
