A code to indicate the type of information reported for this employment resource, portion of an employment resource, or rate reserve.

Coding Instructions:

Faculty employment resources will normally be classified as authorized but not established when they do not have an encumbent.

Coding a "T" will exclude the information on the record from being included in the rate reporting. It should be used for positions that are being filled with replacements. This coding will keep the rate from being overstated.

Reserve (O,P,R) and Temporary (T) coded records should only be reported on the Operating Budget submission.

Summer Reserve (X) coded records may be reported on any SCD submission (SUB_TYP 01726=O,J,L,S).
