Identifies the system in which a person is enrolled and from which the person expects to collect benefits upon retirement. An employee is enrolled in one of these system administered by the Division of Retirement.

For EMPLOYEE_VACANTS table: Code your choice of Retirement Code. Administered funds retirement costs will be calculated for EMPR_TYP_CODE = V, X (vacant and summer reserves).
