0** - Grants - This category of financial assistance includes awards that are made outright (require no repayment in service or cash). Tuition waivers or remissions for students represent a type of financial assistance and for the purpose of this data reporting form, are included in the Grants category. Scholarships (awards based on skills and/or academic attainment) are not to be reported in the category.
1** - Loans - This category of financial assistance includes awards that require repayment. The category has two sub-categories. Repayable by Cash Only and Repayable by Cash or Service (or both).
2** - Scholarships - This category of financial assistance includes awards to students which are outright (require no repayment in service or cash) and are based on skills and academic attainments as a means of determining recipients.
3** - Student Employment - This category of financial assistance includes student work opportunities such as the College Work/Study Program, Graduate Assistantships, Student Assistantships, or any other type of student employment at the institution.
4** - Third Party Billing - This category of financial assistance includes funds provided to the university by a third-party sponsor (e.g., embassy, government agency, private company, or service organization, etc¿) that pays all, or a portion, of a student¿s invoice directly to the university via a special billing process. These payments cannot be contingent on academic performance or employee reimbursement policies. These funds do not include Florida Pre-Paid, university foundation funds, or any other 529 savings plans that parents/students previously paid.

This program is for full-time lower level undergraduate students who are Pell eligible U.S. citizens enrolled in an eligible program, i.e. undergraduate program leading to an associate's or bachelor's degree or a graduate program that includes at least three academic years of undergraduate study. Graduate program partic- ipant eligibility is limited to the duration of the undergraduate status. Students must have completed a rigorous secondary school program similar to the State Scholars Initiative or an Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) courses and test scores or Florida Bright Futures program. First acedemic year award is up to $750. Second acedemic year award is up to $1300. (Federally funded)
